@ablondebookishgirl Best impulse buy ever! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Thanks target ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Seriously though come over and bring wine and or books- it’s the way to my heart! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I started Shadow and Bone last night and I’m so excited to finish it so I can watch the Netflix show! I gotta get to speed reading so I can get through all the books! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Do you recommend reading the whole series before the show? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Do you watch the show first or read the book? Usually I read the book first! The only one I didn’t do that was Bridgerton (loved the show, DNFed the book)! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Shoes are amazonfashion and my dress is linked in my bio sheincurve ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ • • • • • • • • • #bookstagramfeature #booknerdigans #booknerd #igreads #fortheloveofreading #bookstack #bookreader #bookobsessed #bookstagramreccomends #bookblog #bookbabe #bookblogger #whattoread #readmorebooks #positivityinfluencer

@thecarpenterconfessions Happy Wednesday!! I hope everyone’s having a great week and we are halfway to the weekend!! 🌄 So, I finished Shadow and Bone a couple days again and the book is so good!! I plan on writing the review soon to have it ready hopefully by the weekend. I definitely have a lot to say, as Olaf says, “all good things, all good things”. 🌄 I know I used my 2020 snow globe, but I thought it was perfect to put in the photo since it was a deer and if you’ve read the book or even looked at the cover, you’d know deer have a lot to do with the book! 🌄 🌄 🌄 #bookcommunity #bookstagram #booksofinstagram #booksofinsta #booksta #booknerd #booklover #bookworm #bookbabe #bibliophile #books #bookblog #bookblogger #bookbloggerofinstagram #bookreveiws #bookreviewer #bookreviewersofinstagram #read #reader #shadowandbone #leighbardugo #shadowandbonenetflix #shadowandbonetrilogy #snowglobes #winterthemed #wednesdayquotes #pictureperfectstyle #targetstyle #barnesandnoblefinds

Enter the Grishaverse with Book One of the Shadow and Bone Trilogy by the #1 New York Times-bestselling author of Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom.

Soldier
. Summoner. Saint. Orphaned and expendable, Alina Starkov is a soldier who knows she may not survive her first trek across the Shadow Fold--a swath of unnatural darkness crawling with monsters. But when her regiment is attacked, Alina unleashes dormant magic not even she knew she possessed.

Now Alina will enter a lavish world of royalty and intrigue as she trains with the Grisha, her country's magical military elite--and falls under the spell of their notorious leader, the Darkling. He believes Alina can summon a force capable of destroying the Shadow Fold and reuniting their war-ravaged country, but only if she can master her untamed gift.

As the threat to the kingdom mounts and Alina unlocks the secrets of her past, she will make a dangerous discovery that could threaten all she loves and the very future of a nation.

Welcome to Ravka . . . a world of science and superstition where nothing is what it seems.
