@atv_reads ~small rant~ • Can target please please PLEASE stop with the 20% off stickers?! You know I’m already buying 1 in every 3 books from you. So please STAHP. • END RANT • Okay, so I seriously played myself by putting this one off for so long. For some reason I had convinced myself this was a time loop/Groundhog Day situation and that is FALSE. The premise is MUCH more interesting than that. • In line with #CoHo fashion, there’s tons of drama, a “will they or won’t they” situation, and definitely a moment of “uhm, idk if I ship this or not???” And the BIG REVEAL didn’t super shock me. • HOWEVER. Even when I wanted to toss the book across the room in frustration, I found so much to latch on to because that is Colleen Hoover’s gift: people. Some readers may find her characters unbelievable, but to me, they resonate completely. Maybe that means I know a LOT of flawed people?
